Meet Archie - "The Parents' Comedian"
Archie began performing comedy in 2014 when he won his place in the NSW finals of the RAW Comedy competition. But later that year his burgeoning comedy career was crushed, along with other hopes and dreams, with the birth of his first child. Two subsequent children kept him isolated and cut off from society for a further 4 years. Then, in a cruel twist of fate, Covid arrived and his long-term lockdown was extended further.
But now as he emerges from the fog, fancy secondary schools are on the horizon for his growing clan, and the threat of impending bankruptcy looms large. So Archie has decided to return to the stage, bringing with him his unique brand of humour that lifts parents from their ongoing groundhog day insanity.
So if you too feel like life's a bit of a joke, then take heart, you're not alone. Book the babysitters and join other mums and dads for a night of parent-themed standup comedy. You'll ride the emotional rollercoaster as Archie gives you his take on the lows, and deep lows, of parenting young children.

Meet The Comedy Writers
Archie might be the front man, but behind the scenes is a team of three small but dedicated individuals who are constantly delivering new material, even when it's not wanted. From the minute they wake up, to the final moments of their bedtime resistance, they're constantly pushing the envelope of what makes us laugh versus what makes us cry.
The young ages of these writers means they don't receive an actual income, but that doesn't stop salary expenses being submitted to the ATO. It's all part of a sophisticated paper trail involving trust funds and bogus companies that leads to somewhere in the Cayman Islands. To protect their innocence, the writers names have been withheld.
